Class times represent the general flow of the school day. Brief transitions between classes are built into the schedule, so individual start and end times may vary slightly. Tutorial periods and labs provide flexibility for additional instruction, enrichment, and individualized student support. Tutorials scheduled concurrently with mathematics classes serve students who are not enrolled in that particular mathematics course.

Course Overviews
Our curriculum is designed to cultivate wisdom, virtue, and intellectual excellence through the Christian classical tradition. The following summaries provide an overview of each course. Detailed course syllabi and book lists are available to enrolled families prior to the start of the academic year.
Foundations
Foundations serves as the daily gathering point of the Regents community, where students begin each day with prayer, Scripture, hymnody, and shared reflection. The course also cultivates the habits of attention, study, discussion, organization, and disciplined inquiry that prepare students to flourish throughout the curriculum and beyond.
Biblical Theology
Bible & Theology introduces students to the Christian faith through the study of Scripture, prayer, and classic Christian texts. As students engage God’s Word and reflect on the Christian story, they learn to see the faith not merely as a subject of study, but as a way of life that shapes how we worship, think, and live.
Classical History
Classical History introduces students to the civilizations of the ancient world through the study of the Ancient Near East, Israel, Persia, Greece, and Rome. Through primary sources, such as accounts of ancient historians, students explore the ideas, people, and events that shaped Western civilization while wrestling with the timeless questions that have confronted humanity throughout history.
Latin I
Latin I introduces students to the language that has shaped Western civilization, theology, science, and law. Through vocabulary, grammar, translation, and readings, students strengthen their understanding of English, sharpen their analytical skills, and gain a deeper appreciation for the history, literature, and Christian heritage of the classical tradition.
Logic I
Logic I equips students to think clearly, reason carefully, and communicate truthfully. Through the study of deductive reasoning, syllogisms, logical fallacies, and the structure of sound arguments, students learn to evaluate ideas with discernment and develop habits of careful thinking that serve every area of learning and life.
Classical Composition
Classical Composition develops students’ ability to read attentively, think clearly, and write persuasively through the classical tradition of composition and rhetoric. Drawing upon great literature and the progymnasmata, students learn to express truth with clarity, order, and grace while growing as thoughtful readers, writers, and communicators.
Pre-Algebra
Pre-Algebra prepares students for the transition from arithmetic to formal algebraic thinking. Students build confidence in fractions, decimals, ratios, geometry, and introductory algebra through daily practice and continual review, developing careful reasoning, perseverance, and an appreciation for the order and beauty reflected in mathematics.
Algebra I
Algebra I introduces students to the language and structure of higher mathematics through the study of equations, functions, graphing, exponents, polynomials, and quadratic relationships. As students strengthen both computational fluency and logical reasoning, they learn to recognize the order, consistency, and beauty of mathematics as part of God’s created world.
Algebra II
Algebra II builds on the foundations of Algebra I as students explore advanced functions, logarithms, sequences, probability, and introductory trigonometric concepts. Through careful study and cumulative review, students develop precision, disciplined reasoning, and confidence in solving complex problems while gaining a deeper appreciation for the coherence and beauty of mathematics.
Biology & Botany
Our Biology & Botany course invites students into the careful study of living things through observation, field study, laboratory investigation, and discussion. As students explore plants, cells, genetics, ecosystems, and biological diversity, they develop scientific understanding alongside habits of wonder, attentiveness, and wise stewardship of God’s creation.
Tutorial
Tutorial provides dedicated time for individualized instruction, academic support, enrichment, and mentoring. Whether reinforcing course material, pursuing deeper study, or receiving one-on-one guidance, students benefit from the flexibility and personal attention that are central to the Regents approach to learning.
